When you work from home, with babies in the picture, it can be straight up difficult to prioritize what to do first.
In this video I share the two categories of tasks and which one you should tackle first to feel like you actually got something done today!
Case in point, today has been a terrible Monday (at the moment, I'm writing this post).
22 month Cooper has Hand, Feet, and Mouth Disease. (WTF is that anyway?)
So, I've had to deal with not working today, being patient with all the creative urges inside my mind and heart, and trying to keep his drool off the newborn.
And I'm now on my computer while husband does dinner with my second fave trick up my sleeve:
How to prioritize.
How to prioritize is an important topic - especially on days like today - and my new video will teach you just how I do it. It's 4 minutes long. Watch now:
- the two categories of tasks
- which one must come first, and
- what to do if you absolutely can't do it in the suggested order.
After you've watched, please leave a comment below with any of your tricks for prioritizing your family or work time.
(And by the way.)
I've been working on the outline for the first MamaWorx Program that's happening in September 2017 (a hop and skip away) and it's coming together nicely.
I like to use crayon on 18x24 sheets of newsprint. It is so much more fun this way.
For those of you who want to know exactly how I've done it, and exactly how you can do it, too, and create a business similar to Go Diaper Free, Tiny Undies, or something totally unrelated but equally awesome...mark your calendar for the months of September and half of October.
(This doodled outline probably would have cut my learning curve by 80% had I known all this on day one of my businesses! Seriously. Where was my evil twin back then?)
More on that later.
For now, enjoy video #2 and please leave your comment with your favorite prioritization tricks below.
